"No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light." Luke 8:16

Redeeming Love

I just finished reading “Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers and it is soooooo good! Redeeming Love is moving, inspiring, emotion and thought provoking, and filled with so much insight. This riveting story is based on the book of Hosea. It shows that no matter what kind of past we’ve had or how much we’ve messed up, God’s grace is sufficient. His love redeems, restores, and transforms. I was deeply moved by the characters, their trials and tribulations and how God redeemed them with His unconditional, forgiving, unchanging, everlasting, self-sacrificing love, the kind of love most people hunger their entire lives, yet never find. I am left in awe. It’s too good not to share.

I used to ask why
The memories are bittersweet
Why would you say yes, then turn around and say no?
I seek your face for answers
Then you say, seek me more
I discover the truths of your mysteries
Had I known, I would have taken up my cross long ago
I worshiped everything but You
Now I understand, now I see
I have always been your beloved..
You just wanted to be mine
